Somali Relief and Development Organization (SORDO) is a youth-led, non-profit humanitarian and development organization established in 2004 and officially registered with the Federal Government of Somalia and the relevant Federal Member States. SORDO is dedicated to empowering youth, women, and marginalized communities through inclusive, community-driven interventions. Operating across rural, urban, coastal, and displacement settings, our work combines traditional knowledge with innovative, modern solutions to build local capacity and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Central to our approach is the principle of “Creating Local Solutions to Local Challenges,” which guides our efforts to help communities address their own social, economic, and developmental issues.
